At Burcham Eyecare Center, we are doing everything we can to ensure the safety of our patients, staff and visitors. From the beginning of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak, we’ve been working closely with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and other agencies to stay up to date with the latest information.
Due the latest ruling by Governor Polis, we are not currently seeing our patients for nonessential visits, such as elective surgeries or routine eye exams. We are still available to our patients for urgent matters, such as pain, loss of vision, sudden flashes, floaters, and/or complications after surgical procedures.
Our office has reduced our operating hours, for the time being, due to these restrictions. Our staff will be answering phones for our office Monday thru Friday, 8 am to 12 pm, Dr. Burcham will be available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 10 am and 2 pm to see urgent patients, if you need to be seen for an urgent matter please call us at 303-340-4600.
Your health and safety are our highest priority. We have implemented preventative measures such as frequent hand washing and frequent disinfecting of high-touch areas and exam rooms. Our staff will be wearing face-masks as well to prevent the spread of germs. We are also implementing new check in procedures that follow the rules for "social distancing". Patients are able to wait in their cars after they check in with the front desk or can still use our waiting room in which the chairs have been spaced out more than normal so patients can keep distance from others.
Due to the seriousness of this outbreak we have implemented new visitor restrictions, we are taking these measures to protect the safety of our patients and our staff.
